Summer has begun

Eric played in a softball game with his co-workers and it was an all day Saturday thing so the kids and I went out to support him. I tried to get some good pictures of the kids, but let's just say these days good pictures are hard to come by, everyone is always in a good mood at different times :)

Eric says that I need to just take the pictures and not worry about getting a perfect one, so I have been taking his advice.

I love holiday weekends. Eric works so much that we hardly have time to just enjoy him. We took full advantage of Memorial Day weekend to plan lots of fun, family activities. One day, we loaded up and went to enjoy the Cedar Hill sprinkler park, apparently everyone else had the same idea :) It was still fun for the kids and we enjoyed the afternoon in Cedar Hill.

At one point Abigail told me that "the sun was burning her eyes" her way of saying she wants my sun glasses. So she put them on, some how we turned it into a family game and everyone had to have a picture with my sunglasses on.
