Catching up
To explain the post below. I had the honor of traveling to Nigeria, home sweet home. It was incredible. I had an amazing time. It had been way too long since I had been home. The last time I went home was my sophomore year while I was in DBU. Never again. I absolutely love Nigeria. I will be going back again soon, and taking my family with me. I wasnt very good at taking pictures. After being away for 9 years and not seeing my mother for 5 years I was busy loving on my family and not taking pictures. Everything has changed so much there, I was just taking it all in. I feel like I am still processing so much from the trip. I do feel my heart was being prepared for that trip long before I took it though and now I am certain I will never be the same. I do kinda feel like everyone should try to leave the country at least once in your life and NOT on a vacation or honeymoon. It amazed me the amount of non-Nigerians I met on the plane to Nigeria and while in Nigeria. You always wander what takes people out of their country and comfort to another country. I am attracted to such people. They absolutely fascinate me. Even if in reality they are making hundreds and thousands and even millions living in Africa! (most of the people I met were business people not missionaries). Anyways, not much going on in our home. Just trying to get back on track and make new goals. We are blessed beyond measure.
