So our Gogo-girl started getting sick on and off about two weeks ago. She would have a fever and just want to lay around the house, but when we gave her Tylenol and Motrin she was fine. I wasnt sure what was going on, but after about 3 or 4 days of this I decided to call the doctor. After the first doctor visit, she was diagnosed with the flu. We immediately started Tamiflu.
A couple days later, she was showing no signs of getting better and still having ridiculously high fevers (105 or greater). I called the doctor just to check in and they told us to got to Cooks ER, so we did. After being there all night, we were sent home and told she had an ear infection! The next day her ear was oozing out puss nonstop (yuck!), and she was still puny and had high fever, but now started limping. The limping went from bad to worse, and in two day she could no longer walk and was screaming in pain. We went back to the doctor, who then sent us straight to Cooks ER again, and from there they ran some tests, did some xrays and an ultrasound, which led to surgery the next morning on her knee! We are home now, but spent about 5 days in the hospital. It was SO hard because she was in an isolation room where she could not leave the room and then bound to her IV. If you know my two year old, her nickname "Gogo" is because she is always going. She hated it and it was hard, but we made it through and are home now.

She hated every bit of every thing done at the hospital and ANYONE in scrubs was an immediate enemy.

When she finally woke up after surgery, she was happy to see us.

After a couple of days, she was able to walk, and she got the hang of pulling her IV machine around the room!
Grandpa Earl came by a few times to check on us. He got VERY familiar with BOZ, the videos we watched over and over and over all week!
I slept IN the hospital bed with her all week, we really bonded. This was in the afternoon, nap time, she was eating the chips her daddy brought her and she fell asleep leaning up against me!
Uncle Titi came up almost everyday and read books, drew pictures, and at snacks with us!
